Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Polymodel (“Polymodel”, “we”, “our”, “the Service”), operated from Hong Kong. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.

1. The Service

Polymodel is a relay platform that lets you access third-party AI models (including but not limited to OpenAI, Anthropic, Google, and DeepSeek) through a single chat interface and an OpenAI-compatible HTTP API. We do not own, operate, or control the underlying models. Your inputs are forwarded to the model provider you select.

2. Eligibility & Account

You must be at least 13 years old to create an account. You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any API keys issued to you, and for all activity that occurs under your account.

3. Credits & Billing

Usage is billed in credits, deducted in real time from your balance based on token consumption (input + output). Top-up purchases convert USD to credits at the published rate ($1 ≈ 1,000,000 credits). Subscription plans grant a monthly credit allowance plus higher tier features.

Top-up purchases and subscription fees are processed by Stripe. We do not store your full payment card details.

4. Subscriptions & Auto-Renewal

Paid subscriptions renew automatically each month until you cancel. You can cancel at any time from your account settings; access continues until the end of the current billing period, after which your account reverts to the Free tier.

5. Acceptable Use

You agree not to use the Service to: (a) generate or distribute unlawful, harmful, defamatory, or infringing content; (b) attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or content moderation; (c) resell Service access without our written permission; or (d) interfere with the operation of the Service. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate this section.

6. Content & Moderation

You retain ownership of inputs you submit. We apply automated content moderation to filter clearly harmful inputs; we may also review flagged content for safety reasons. Outputs from third-party models are subject to those providers' own usage policies.

7. No Warranty for Model Outputs

Model outputs are generated by third-party AI systems. They may contain errors, omissions, or content that does not reflect reality. Do not rely on outputs as a substitute for professional advice (medical, legal, financial, etc.). The Service is provided “AS IS” without warranties of any kind.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, our aggregate liability arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the greater of (a) the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim, or (b) US$50.

9. Termination

You may delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access for violation of these Terms or for inactive accounts after extended periods.

10. Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via email or in-app notice at least 14 days before taking effect.

11. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Hong Kong courts.
